I have a comment on the Flipside packpack. I have one of these and what I like is that it that your kit is secure from pickpockets becasue the opening is against your back, and also that if you use the waist strap you don’t have to take the backpack off and put it on the ground to get into it. You can take your arms out of the straps, swivel the bag around so it is in front of you, then unzip it and everything is right in front of you. Take your camera out, zip the bag up, and put it back onto your back. There is no need to put it on the ground, especially if the ground is wet or muddy, and you don’t have to worry about somebody stealing your bag while you are using your camera.
I saw that “waist strap, swivel the pack around, feature”. Very nice! I like it.
