Excellent podcast. I especially liked seeing the photos, comparing Sandy’s and Sony’s, talking about what worked and what didn’t work. This part of the show was particularly instructive. Sandy was brave to let her images be shown and compared to Sony’s.
Anita, Glad you liked it! We may do something like this again in the future.
Great shots !!
Thanks Sean!
Great show! Enjoyed the format of critiquing the photos.
Hey thanks Allen. I hope it was helpful. I may do more of these on future shows.
Hi Sonny, thanks for discussing my pic on your show (Cincinnati skyline). I love my little Sony rx100m1, which I always have with me. I took that shot on my way home from work. I did use an nd filter to slow the exposure and get better car light streaks. Will soon upgrade my camera but staying small and mirrorless. Thank you again, john
Hey John, That’s the nice thing about small, lightweight cameras, you have them with you to get great shots like you did!
As a new listener to your podcasts I was happy to find the pictures on your website that you and Sandy were describing in the audio I was listening to. I had to imagine the pictures in my head and was hoping I would find these and – here they are! Much better than the pictures you painted in my imagination. I tend to listen to your podcasts to or from work so I rarely get a chance to check out the website. Glad I did – these were great. Love your podcasts and I’m learning a lot as I move from being an AUTO shooter to one who now experiments every chance I can. Keep up the good work.
Good to have you on board William!
Like William, I too am a new listener to your podcasts. I am binge listening! I find it very helpful to actually see the differences in composition and to have it explained why the shot was composed in that way, so that I too can look for the distractions/focal points/leading lines in my own shots. Thans for the screen cast. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Hey Joanne! Welcome aboard. Thanks for your kind words.
