Another option for backup would be using an eyefi sd card and an ipad. The eyefi card will set up a wireless connection with the ipad. After the pictures are download, they can be saved to the ipad and then uploaded to the “cloud” until you get back home. The eyefi will also work while you are in the field and you would not have to wait to get back to your room.
